<p>The regulator, flashback arrestor and nozzle you need depend on the gas you're running, not just the job. Oxygen and acetylene use different regulator threads (right-hand for oxygen, left-hand for acetylene) and different flashback arrestor ratings — mixing them up is a genuine safety issue, not just a fitting mismatch.</p>
<h3>Regulators and flowmeters</h3>
<p>Single-stage regulators cover oxygen, acetylene and LPG; flowmeters are used for shielding gases like argon and nitrogen, where flow rate matters more than line pressure.</p>
<h3>Flashback arrestors</h3>
<p>Available for both regulator-mount and torch-mount positions, in gas-specific oxygen and acetylene versions. A torch-mount arrestor protects the hose and regulator even if a flame travels back down the line from the torch end.</p>
<h3>Cutting nozzles and torches</h3>
<p>Nozzle size is matched to material thickness and to the gas combination — oxygen/acetylene and oxygen/LPG nozzles aren't interchangeable. We stock Saffire-type torch handles, mixers and cutting attachments as well as the nozzles themselves.</p>

How do I know which regulator I need?
Regulator choice depends on the gas — oxygen and acetylene use different threads and can't be swapped. Tell us the gas and your current setup on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the right one.
What does a flashback arrestor do, and do I need one?
It stops a flame travelling back down the hose into the regulator or cylinder if the torch flashes back. We stock both regulator-mount and torch-mount versions for oxygen and acetylene.
Are oxygen and acetylene fittings interchangeable?
No — acetylene fittings are left-hand thread and oxygen fittings are right-hand thread, by design, so they can't be cross-connected by mistake.
