TIG ceramic cup – standard (10N series)
Standard 10N-series ceramic cups for TIG torches, in sizes No. 4 to No. 10 to match your nozzle size and gas coverage needs.
What is a TIG ceramic cup?
A TIG ceramic cup (nozzle) fits over the collet body on your torch head and directs shielding gas evenly around the tungsten and the weld pool as you weld.
What sizes does the standard 10N cup come in?
This standard 10N-series cup is available in No. 4, No. 5, No. 6, No. 7, No. 8 and No. 10, so you can match gas coverage to the joint you're welding.
What cup size should I use?
Use a smaller cup for tight, detailed work where you need close access, and a larger cup when you need wider gas coverage on thicker material or longer runs.

Why do ceramic cups need replacing?
Ceramic cups are a consumable. They crack from knocks against the workpiece and from repeated heat cycling, and a cracked cup lets gas escape unevenly. Keeping spares on hand avoids downtime mid-job.
Frequently asked questions
What does a TIG ceramic cup do?
It directs shielding gas evenly around the tungsten and weld pool, keeping the weld protected from oxidation as you work.
What size TIG cup should I use?
Smaller cups (No. 4–5) suit tight, detailed work; larger cups (No. 8–10) suit thicker material where you need broader gas coverage.
How often do TIG ceramic cups need replacing?
As soon as you see a crack or chip. A damaged cup lets gas escape unevenly and increases the risk of contamination in the weld.
Does this cup fit a gas lens setup?
No — this is the standard 10N cup for a standard collet body. For a gas lens setup, use our dedicated gas lens ceramic cups.
What torches does the 10N series fit?
The 10N series is the standard cup fitment used across common TIG torch heads taking a 10N-series collet body.
