Description
Prepare TIG tungsten without returning to a bench grinder
The AWS Cordless Tungsten Electrode Sharpener is a portable tungsten grinder with a guided collar for preparing electrodes at selected point angles. Its cordless format is designed for workshop, site and service work where a dedicated bench grinder is not close at hand.
Choose the angle and electrode size
The grinding collar provides 15, 20, 30, 40, 45 and 50-degree positions, with guides for 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm and 3.2 mm TIG tungsten electrodes.
Set and monitor the grinding speed
Adjust the tool from 8,000 to 35,000 rpm across 32 speed steps. The digital display shows the selected speed and battery information during tungsten preparation.
Cordless power with USB Type-C charging
The sharpener uses a 12 V 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery and USB Type-C charging. A one-hour charging time is manufacturer-stated and may vary with the charger, battery condition and operating environment.
