The WP26V is the valve version of the WP26 complete assembly - the same T26 torch head and cable, plus a gas control valve built into the handle so you can fine-tune shielding gas flow by hand at the torch, without walking back to the regulator.

Why choose the valve version
The valve at the handle lets you trim gas flow on the fly - useful for tacking, working in draughty conditions, or fine-tuning without a helper at the machine. If you don't need that, the standard WP26 complete assembly covers the same T26 head without the valve, and comes in both 1-pin and 2-pin switch wiring.
